https://e-journal.lp3kamandanu.com/index.php/educatoria/article/view/316

The aim of this research is to determine the results of the readability test of the invertebrate systematics module that has been prepared and provide recommendations for improvement. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The research instrument used was a student readability test sheet. The data analysis technique used is the percentage technique. Based on the results of the student readability test, an average of 3.22 was obtained, the module was declared very valid and suitable to be used as a reference source for Invertebrate Systematics teaching materials.
Uswatun Hasanah

This research aims to measure the extent to which practical instructions meet the validity criteria for use in learning aquatic ecology. This type of research is development research. The research instrument used was a validation sheet. The data collection technique uses validation. The data analysis technique uses percentage techniques. The research results showed that the validation results from content/material experts were 80% in the very good category, display experts were 87% in the very good category, and language experts were 90% in the very good category, so that the average value of the validation test results was obtained. aquatic ecology practicum instruction expert by 85%. With these results, the practical instructions that have been prepared are in the very good category and do not need to be revised.
Safnowandi Safnowandi

https://e-journal.lp3kamandanu.com/index.php/educatoria/article/view/320

Learning media is an intermediary or messenger between a teacher and students. This learning media is very necessary in stimulating thoughts, feelings and attention, as well as interest, so that it can facilitate the delivery of educational material. The aim of this research is to determine the validity of Pop-up Books as a biology learning medium in high schools. This type of research is development research using the 4-D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). However, in this research, the author only used it up to the development stage. The author focuses on the development stage to produce products that are effective and relevant to user needs. The instrument used in this research was a validation sheet. The data collection technique is validation, the media that has been prepared is validated by three validators, namely material expert validator, media expert validator, and language expert validator. The data analysis technique used is the percentage technique. Based on the validation results from three validators, namely media experts obtained a percentage of 72%, material experts 83%, and 80% from language experts, with an average percentage of 78.3%. Thus, the Pop-up Book media is declared valid and suitable for use as a biology learning media in high schools.
Linda Purnama Sari

https://e-journal.lp3kamandanu.com/index.php/educatoria/article/view/325

This research aims to examine the effectiveness of innovative learning methods in biology education through a literature review. Innovative learning methods, which include project-based approaches, collaborative learning, and the use of digital technology, have become a major focus in improving the quality of education at various levels. By analyzing various studies and relevant literature, this research evaluates the impact of the method on conceptual understanding, student motivation, and learning outcomes in biology subjects. The results of the review show that the application of innovative learning methods not only increases student engagement, but also supports the development of critical and analytical thinking skills. Additionally, this research identifies challenges faced by educators in implementing innovative methods, as well as recommendations for better educational practices in the future. These findings are expected to provide a significant contribution to curriculum development and teaching strategies in biology education.
I Wayan Karmana

https://e-journal.lp3kamandanu.com/index.php/educatoria/article/view/329

The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of a direct, practicum-based learning model on the scientific attitudes of class VII students at SMP Negeri 1 Gangga, North Lombok Regency. This research is a quasi-experimental research with a Pretest Posttest Control Group Design. The population in this study were all class VII students at SMP Negeri 1 Gangga, with the research sample consisting of two classes, namely class VII A with 28 students as the experimental class and class VII B with 28 students as the control class taken using random sampling techniques. Based on the research results, it is known that both classes experienced an increase in scientific attitudes. The percentage of scientific attitudes of the experimental class and control class was 74.51% and 67.65% respectively, increasing to 86.27% and 72.55%. The results of this research indicate that there is an influence of the practical-based direct learning model on the scientific attitudes of class VII students at SMP Negeri 1 Gangga.
Pariani Pariani
