With its interactive short video format, TikTok allows students to showcase their talents and reach a wider audience. This study explains how TikTok usage influences personal branding and offers practical advice for individuals, creators, and especially makeup service students. Google Form was used to conduct an online survey using a non-experimental quantitative methodology. There were 65 students from the class of 2022 in the Beauty Education Study Program, Semarang State University, who became the sample. In this study, the data results met the conditions indicated by the validity test, reliability, classical assumptions, simple linear regression, t-test, and determination test. The t-test results showed that the TikTok social media usage variable (X) had a t-value of 8.182 and a significance value of 0.000. Because this significance value is less than 0.05 (0.000 < 0.05), it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. These findings indicate that TikTok social media usage contributes to the development of personal branding and plays a role in supporting audience interaction and increasing public perceptions of trust. The platform also provides a relevant platform for student makeup artists to build visibility and document their portfolios digitally.
2026-04-02T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2026 Dinda Ayu Puspita & Maria Krisnawati https://e-journal.lp3kamandanu.com/index.php/panthera/article/view/1088 Efektivitas Penggunaan Media Pembelajaran melalui Media Sosial pada Mata Kuliah Pangkas Rambut Dasar 2026-01-30T14:37:58+07:00 Evi Veronika Sipayung eviunnes@students.unnes.ac.id Ifa Nurhayati ifa.nh@mail.unnes.ac.id Ade Novi Nurul Ihsani ade.ihsani@gmail.com Anik Maghfiroh anikmaghfiroh@mail.unnes.ac.id
The development of information technology and social media has driven changes in the learning process in higher education, including the use of more flexible and easily accessible learning media for students. Data analysis was carried out using product moment correlation and multiple linear regression using SPSS. The results showed a positive relationship between the variables studied with different levels of strength. Social skills (X1) and emotional regulation (X2) have a correlation coefficient of r = 0.563 which is included in the moderate relationship category, indicating that the better an individual's social skills, the better their emotional regulation. The relationship between social skills (X1) and peer acceptance (Y) is also in the moderate category with r = 0.510, indicating that individuals with better social skills tend to be more easily accepted by their peers. Meanwhile, emotional regulation (X2) and peer acceptance (Y) had a low positive correlation with r = 0.252. Simultaneously, social skills and emotional regulation had a significant relationship with peer acceptance (p < 0.05). This systematic literature review identifies patterns of limitations of elementary school teachers in teaching science based on 17 selected sources in the period 2016–2026. The research method used is descriptive qualitative through a systematic literature review approach with data sources from the SINTA database, Garuda, Google Scholar, and repositories. The search keywords used are “the ability of elementary school teachers to teach science” and “challenges of elementary school science teachers”. Inclusion criteria include publications in the last 10 years and focus on the competencies of elementary school science teachers. The results of the study show several main themes, namely: 1) the dominance of the lecture method (47%, 8 articles) which is characterized by monotonous learning and students tend to be passive; 2) limited use of learning media (29%, 5 articles), such as minimal use of videos and experiments; 3) lack of variety of learning models (41%, 7 articles), especially Problem-Based Learning (PBL) and experimental models; 4) weak teacher competency (24%, 4 articles), primarily due to non-science backgrounds; and 5) low mastery of TPACK (24%, 4 articles), demonstrated by limitations in the use of information and communication technology (ICT). The impact of these limitations is low student learning outcomes and increased levels of boredom in learning. The conclusion of this study indicates that systemic limitations, in the form of teacher-centered and conventional approaches, hinder the effectiveness of science learning in elementary schools. Solutions offered include PBL-based TPACK training, the use of animated media, and the implementation of simple experiments to support the transition to student-centered learning. This study recommends the need for a national program for primary school teacher professional development based on needs assessment and ongoing supervision.
2026-04-25T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2026 Sudarto https://e-journal.lp3kamandanu.com/index.php/panthera/article/view/1185 Kontribusi Kekuatan Power Tungkai dan Keseimbangan dengan Kemampuan Menggiring Bola pada Permainan Sepakbola UPT SD INPRES 4/82 Abbupungeng 2026-03-25T18:01:33+07:00 Muhammad Basri basrimuh044@gmail.com Andi Ogo Darminto andiogodarminto@gmail.com Andi Mutmainna bahtiarandimutmainna@gmail.com
This study aims to analyze the contribution of leg power and balance to dribbling ability in soccer games among students at UPT SD INPRES 4/82 Abbupuneng. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a thematic analysis approach. The research data are in the form of quotations in the novel that contain elements of love based on the three main components of Robert Sternberg's theory (1986). The analysis process is carried out through the stages of data reduction, classification, and interpretation of the meaning of the quotations in accordance with the theoretical framework used. The results of the study show that the novel Kau, Aku, dan Sepucuk Angpau Merah represents love in a deep and complex way through its three components: 1) intimacy is depicted through emotional closeness, sincere attention, and warmth of the relationship between the characters Borno and Mei; 2) passion is seen through feelings of longing, emotional attraction, and inner turmoil described with symbolic and reflective language; and 3) commitment is the most dominant aspect, shown through an attitude of loyalty, determination, and sincerity to love even if it means letting go. Furthermore, combined forms of love, such as romantic love (intimacy and passion) and friendly love (intimacy and commitment), enrich the dynamics of relationships between characters. This research confirms that Tere Liye's works present love stories not only as a form of romance, but also as a reflection of human emotional and moral maturity. Thus, this research contributes to the development of psychological literary studies and strengthens the relevance of Robert Sternberg's theory of love in the analysis of modern Indonesian literary works.
2026-04-27T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2026 Syarifah Aeni Maulida, Sulastriningsih Djumingin, & Aswati Asri https://e-journal.lp3kamandanu.com/index.php/panthera/article/view/1205 Penerapan Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) dalam Pembelajaran Termokimia melalui Konteks Fermentasi Nira (Arenga pinata) sebagai Minuman Tradisional Batak 2026-04-02T08:07:02+07:00 Ester Debora Togatorop estertogatorop24@gmail.com Marini Damanik estertogatorop24@gmail.com
21st-century students tend to be less aware of local wisdom, necessitating a learning approach that integrates culture into the learning process. This study was motivated by the suboptimal utilization of learning modules, as well as the lack of innovation in mathematics learning models that impact students' low engagement and thinking skills. The research method used was a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest two treatment groups. The sample of the study was 45 eighth grade students. The research instrument was an essay test analyzed using N-Gain to measure improvements in comprehensive cognitive abilities and problem-solving, and MANOVA test to see differences between groups. The results showed that the application of the time token learning model was able to improve students' comprehensive cognitive abilities and problem-solving in the medium category. The N-Gain values in large groups were 0.520 and 0.359, respectively, while in small groups were 0.558 and 0.342. However, the results of the MANOVA test showed that there was no significant effect of group size on both abilities. The data used are the BI Rate interest rate for the period January 2022 to February 2026, as well as the 2023 Indonesian Population Mortality Table (TMPI) for the female category. The CIR model parameter estimation was carried out using the Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) method. The estimation results show that the model has mean reversion characteristics with a long-term average of 0.05 (5%) and a variance of 0.0000002, which indicates relatively stable interest rate fluctuations. The interest rate rate (force of interest) is obtained at δ = 0.036025. Furthermore, the model is used to calculate the discount factor and premium. The calculation results show that the net single premium with the discrete approach is Rp 911,088.22, smaller than the continuous approach of Rp 927,703.73. This difference is due to the timing of benefit payments. The discrete model assumes payment at the end of the year of death, while the continuous model assumes payment at the time of death. Therefore, the continuous approach yields a greater present value of future benefits. This study shows that the choice of premium model and interest rate assumptions significantly influence premium amounts.
2026-04-30T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2026 Anita Sinaga, Christina Amanda Surbakti, & Yizhar Saputra Hondro https://e-journal.lp3kamandanu.com/index.php/panthera/article/view/1232 Analisis Perbandingan Premi Asuransi Jiwa pada Model Suku Bunga Deterministik dan Stokastik Berbasis Model Vasicek 2026-04-07T20:36:40+07:00 Indy Pratiwi indypratiwi24@gmail.com Albert Samuel Sinaga indypratiwi24@gmail.com Miftah Asura indypratiwi24@gmail.com
This study aims to analyze the comparison of life insurance premiums calculated using a deterministic interest rate model and a stochastic model based on Vasicek. Differences in interest rate assumptions are evaluated based on their impact on the Expected Present Value (EPV) and the resulting premium. The deterministic approach uses a constant interest rate of 4.93% based on the average BI Rate for the 2016–2025 period, while the stochastic approach applies the Vasicek model with Monte Carlo simulation to represent interest rate fluctuations. The data used include historical interest rates and the 2019 Indonesian Mortality Table (TMI). The results show that the EPV Benefit in the Vasicek model is 1.16% higher than the deterministic model, which results in a premium increase of 0.36% (Rp 173,592 compared to Rp 172,967). This relatively small difference indicates that the premium sensitivity to interest rate changes in this study is relatively low. This study confirms that the Vasicek model provides more realistic estimates because it captures interest rate dynamics. However, the significance of the differences is significantly influenced by the level of volatility. Therefore, the use of stochastic models in premium determination becomes more relevant in conditions of highly fluctuating interest rates.
2026-04-30T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2026 Indy Pratiwi, Albert Samuel Sinaga, & Miftah Asura https://e-journal.lp3kamandanu.com/index.php/panthera/article/view/1207 Efektivitas Layanan Konseling Kelompok dengan Teknik Behavior Contract untuk Mengatasi Perilaku Membolos Siswa di SMP Negeri 5 Tenggarong 2026-04-02T08:56:32+07:00 Ericha Adevita Sambolayuk erikaadevita@gmail.com Nuril Hidayanti erikaadevita@gmail.com
Truancy is a behavior that violates social norms and can occur when students leave school without proper reason, without permission, and during class hours. The results show that the premiums of the CIR model are consistently higher than those of the fixed interest rate model by a difference of around 0.5%–1.5%. Quantitatively, an increase in the interest rate from 3% to 7% significantly reduces the premium, while an extension of the coverage period increases the premium proportionally. Meanwhile, interest rate volatility has a relatively small effect on the premium, in line with the low value of the volatility parameter (σ = 0.00549). The method used is quantitative, using secondary data in the form of a male population in TMI IV, assuming a certain entry age, a fixed sum insured, and a fixed annual premium. Three constant interest rate scenarios are applied: pessimistic, normal, and optimistic. Prospective reserves are calculated using the gross premium valuation method using commutation symbols. The results show that a decrease in interest rates significantly increases reserves, especially at the middle of the policy life, and results in a positive initial reserve indicating an immediate liability burden. Conversely, an increase in interest rates depresses reserves to a negative value, reflecting a capital surplus. The conclusion of this study is that BI-Rate fluctuations significantly impact the solvency of life insurance companies, necessitating a dynamic asset-liability matching strategy.
2026-04-30T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2026 Meisyy Laisa Usrini Deswan, Hafizha Zahra, & Aulia Kusuma Putri https://e-journal.lp3kamandanu.com/index.php/panthera/article/view/1276 Pendekatan Konseling Kelompok Person Centered Teknik Expressive Writing untuk Meningkatkan Konsep Diri Remaja 2026-04-17T20:04:21+07:00 Lamriama Putri Lestari Limbong lamriamaputri@gmail.com Wahyu Widyatmoko wahyuwidyatmoko@fkip.unmul.ac.id Dwi Sona dwisona90@yahoo.com Nuril Hidayanti nuril@fkip.unmul.ac.id
This research is motivated by the importance of self-concept, which is seen as the primary foundation for adolescent personal development. Guava leaves (Psidium guajava L.) contain antibacterial compounds, but their use as facial cleansing cosmetic preparations in the form of micellar water has not been widely done. This experimental study aims to determine the feasibility of guava leaf extract micellar water preparations in inhibiting the growth of Propionibacterium acnes. The preparations were formulated into two variations of extract concentration, namely F1 (50%) and F2 (100%). The evaluation stage of the preparations included organoleptic tests, homogeneity, pH, viscosity, and antibacterial activity testing using the well method. The results of physical tests showed that both formulas were liquid in texture, dark brown in color, and had a distinctive odor of guava leaves. However, the preparations were proven to be inhomogeneous due to the presence of particle deposits. The average pH value of the preparations was classified as acidic and was below the physiological standard of the skin (<4.5) which was 3.05 for F1 and 3.19 for F2. Antibacterial testing showed weak inhibition (<5 mm), with an average F1 inhibition zone of 0.961 ± 0.0300 mm and F2 of 1.142 ± 0.0226 mm. One-way ANOVA analysis showed a statistically significant difference between the treatment groups (p<0.05). However, the preparation was not yet clinically effective, thus concluding that guava leaf extract micellar water is not yet suitable for optimal application due to the physical instability triggered by the high extract concentration and its inadequate ability to penetrate the complex cell wall of Propionibacterium acnes. Further research is needed to optimize the formulation of this preparation.
2026-04-30T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2026 Keysha Alea Chairani & Eny Widhia Agustin https://e-journal.lp3kamandanu.com/index.php/panthera/article/view/1281 Analisis Penggunaan Chatbot AI sebagai Strategi Coping dalam Mengatasi Stres Akademik pada Siswa SMAN 9 Samarinda 2026-04-17T14:52:48+07:00 Malika Nuansa Wicaksana malikanuansa28@gmail.com Yasintha Sari Pratiwi malikanuansa28@gmail.com
This study aims to analyze the use of AI Chatbot as a coping strategy in overcoming academic stress in students of SMAN 9 Samarinda.
