Conflict of Interest
Journals require authors to transparently disclose any potential conflicts of interest related to the preparation and publication of their manuscripts. Conflicts of interest can include financial, professional, or personal relationships with individuals or institutions that could potentially impact their objectivity, the research process, the interpretation of results, or the presentation of scientific findings.
A conflict of interest statement must be included in the submitted manuscript before the peer review process begins. If no conflict of interest exists, authors must include the following explicit statement:
"The authors declare that they have no conflicts of interest in their research activities or the publication of this article."
In addition to authors, editors and reviewers are also required to disclose any potential conflicts of interest that could impact their independence and objectivity. If a conflict of interest is identified that could potentially interfere with the evaluation process, the relevant party must withdraw from the process of handling or evaluating the manuscript.
This policy is implemented to ensure transparency, maintain the independence of the editorial process, and support the integrity and credibility of scientific publications.
