Good air quality is an important factor for public health, especially in urban areas with high vehicle activity. This study aims to analyze the concentration of Nitrogen Dioxide (NO₂) in office areas along Jalan Majapahit, Mataram City. Sampling was carried out at three observation points, namely in front of the Indonesian Broadcasting Commission Office of West Nusa Tenggara Region, the Office of the Environment and Forestry Service of West Nusa Tenggara Province, and Taman Budaya. Air sample analysis was carried out at the UPT Environmental Laboratory Center of West Nusa Tenggara Province. Measurement of NO₂ concentration using an impinger tool with the Griess-Saltzman method refers to SNI 19-7119.2:2017. The volume of inhaled air was standardized to a normal volume (Nm³) before being used in the concentration calculation. The NO₂ concentration value was obtained based on the absorbance of the spectrophotometric analysis results and converted using the volume of air and absorbent solution. The results of this study provide an overview of the condition of ambient air quality in the area, and can be a basis for policy makers in efforts to control air pollution to maintain public health.
