Abstract

This study aims to determine feed consumption, drinking water consumption, and reproductive diversity (scrotum size) of male Hissar cattle raised in Banyumulek, Kediri District, West Lombok Regency. Feed content analysis was carried out by the proximate method at the Laboratory of Nutrition and Animal Food Sciences (INMT), Faculty of Animal Husbandry, University of Mataram. A total of four male Hissar cows aged 1-2 years were used as samples with an average body weight of 308.25 ± 21.41 kg. The research data was tabulated, the average value and standard deviation were calculated, and analyzed descriptively. The results showed that feeding forage and concentrates had an effect on feed consumption, drinking water consumption, body weight gain, and scrotum size of male Hissar cows.
