Plagiarism Policy

Educatoria : Jurnal Ilmiah Ilmu Pendidikan, is committed to maintaining the originality, authenticity, and scientific integrity of every published manuscript. Therefore, submitted manuscripts must be the author's original work, unpublished, and not currently under review or consideration for publication by another journal or publisher. Authors are fully responsible for the authenticity and integrity of the submitted work.

As part of the editorial process, each manuscript may undergo a similarity check using relevant software, such as Turnitin and/or iThenticate. This check aims to identify similarities with other sources that require further review.

The results of the similarity check do not automatically constitute a conclusion that a manuscript contains plagiarism. The Editorial Team will comprehensively assess similarity reports, considering the identified sources, the characteristics and context of the similarities, the scope of the material, and the distribution of the similar sections. The assessment also takes into account the use of appropriate citations, reference lists, methodology descriptions, preprints, scientific repositories, and other previously published or disseminated materials.

Educatoria : Jurnal Ilmiah Ilmu Pendidikan, does not determine the existence of plagiarism solely based on a certain similarity percentage threshold. Editorial decisions are based on a substantive evaluation of the form and context of the similarities found. If there are similarities that are inappropriate or cannot be adequately explained, the Editorial Team has the authority to request an explanation from the author, instruct the manuscript to be revised, reject the submission, or take other editorial action in accordance with the Statement of Publication Ethics and Publication Malpractice and, if necessary, the Research Misconduct and Post-publication Policy.
